Getting my visa + Set Genki Tei

English: Last Thursday, Sophie and I went to The Hague to get our visum. I had never been to the embassy of Japan and I never thought that it would have so much security. I had to pass 3 protected doors and leave all my stuff (expect passport and papers) in a locker. That was an unpleasant feeling... For a little while I could not be contacted or contact anybody. Luckily everything went fine and in the afternoon we could pick up our visas. Until then we walked around in The Hague and had lunch at a Japanese lunchroom called Set Genki Tei.
 Awesome buildings in the city

Set Genki Tei is a Japanese restaurant in the city centre of The Hague. I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and now was the perfect time to check it out. The interieur felt very Japanese, unlike Sumo where they try to squeeze a table in every square meter.

The menu is different from the all-you-can-eat restaurants as well. Set Genki Tei has a menu with only main courses (starters are inculded when you choose your main course). We got miso soup and fried fish as a starter. I couldn't decide if I wanted the Bento box or Katsu Gozen. Sophie chose Oyako Gozen and in the end I chose for Katsu Gozen. And for drinks we chose Calpis.
 It was soooo delicious!

I can really recommend Genki Tei! The service is good, the restaurant looks cool and the food is delicious. I hope I can go back sometime.

My outfit for that day :)

Genki Tei also has a little lunchroom where they sell cake and sandwiches. After we had walked around some more in The Hague we sat down here and tried their cheesecake. I chose the Hello Kitty blueberry one. Doesn't it look delicious and so cute!?

Now that I got my visa, Japan comes so close. Today is my last day at work and after that I'm going to enjoy family, friends and my boyfriend for 11 more days. Time goes by so fast~
